Rody came for the animals and stuck around for the community.
Rody became a #BlueShirt in March of 2019. She has helped in many different areas of the shelter including: dog side, cat side, front desk, and the clinics. She is also an Adoption Counselor and a BV2 (Behavior Volunteer Level 2) on both cat and dog side!
She came for the animals and stuck around for the community. She began volunteering in order to help some animals, but when she joined the tribe she was amazed at the support and camaraderie that she experienced from the staff and other volunteers.
As great as the people are, she truly loves all the animals she encounters at the shelter. Nala has stolen her heart. With that gentle sweet face and that pure soul, who wouldn’t fall in love with Nala?
Every time Rody returns home from volunteering at the shelter, she is greeted by her loving 6-year-old terrier mix, JJ (short for Janis Joplin).
Thank you, Rody, for all that you do for us and the animals at Friends For Life!
