Glow-Up in Progress
About Baxter
Baxter was found as a stray in North Houston, rocking a look that can only be described as “au naturel.” He came in bald and dealing with a stubborn skin condition, but he’s been getting treatment, and these days his coat is filling back in nicely. He’s basically a puppy glow-up in progress.
Baxter has all the puppy enthusiasm you’d expect, but he also knows how to take a break. After some playtime, he’s just as happy to wind down for a nap next to someone or in his own kennel, no convincing required.
He’s friendly with everyone he meets and greets new people like they’re already old friends. Baxter is still working on a couple of life skills, namely potty training and walking politely on a harness, so he’d do best with someone up for a little continued coaching.
Smart, playful, and easygoing for a pup, Baxter brings the energy when it counts and knows how to power down when it doesn’t.
If you’re looking for a puppy with plenty of personality and a solid off-switch, Baxter could be your guy.
Energy Level
I would do best with activities like running, brisk walking, training, or active play at least 5 days a week!
Affectionate
I'm like velcro and would be near you all the time if I could!
Friendly with strangers
I don’t know what a stranger is. Every human is a friend!
Housemanners
I'm better behaved indoors than most humans! Your rugs are safe with me!
Kids?
I get along with all kids, no matter how energetic and rambunctious they are!
Dogs?
I would do great with pretty much any dog.
Cats?
I would do great with pretty much any cat and may prefer to be around cats.
Health
