I have a unique area of expertise…I can catch flies with my paws!
Why we love Chandler–and you should too!
“My name is Chandler, and I’m a girl kitty! Friends for Life rescued me from another shelter; I was on the list you want to avoid! I hung out under the bed a lot when I first came to my foster home, but now the only time I’m there is when the scary vacuum comes out! You’ll most often find me lounging on top of pillows or in one of the “blanket forts” I’ve created; I’m quite the furry architect. When you’re sitting on the couch you’ll likely find me beside you, on the cushions behind you or just in the general area of you!
I’m an independent gal and not a big cuddler so I hope that doesn’t offend you. I’m most affectionate when I know it’s meal-time; I’m no dummy. Something that makes life easier for me and my mom is an automatic feeder so I can snack whenever I want. One of my favorite hobbies is to bird watch; I hope you have some great windows for me to sit in. I can be quite playful; lasers, hair scrunchies, wand toys and “critters” interest me. I’m quite the clawless wonder and can catch flies with my paws and alert you if a bug invades our space. I don’t require much attention and I usually like to ask for it. Most often I’ll curl up at the foot of the bed at night, but if I’m feeling a bit frisky, I might just play “Whack a Mole” with your feet for a bit. I have an uncanny way of knowing that you’re going to leave for a while and will perch myself on or inside the bag you’re trying to fill!
Once I find a home, I like my routine. I would be a perfect companion for someone who needs a friend to talk too after a stressful day. I am a great listener, even if my eyes are closed! I’m an independent girl who needs a patient adopter who doesn’t mind if my beautiful blue eyes are wonderfully crossed!”
