Courage is a great name for me because sometimes I can be a bit shy!

About Courage

You’ve found one of our
‘hidden gem’ cats!

(That means their adoption fee is on us!)

“Hi everyone, my name is Courage and that is a great name for me because sometimes I need to muster up my courage when I meet new people.  The good thing is, once I get to know you, I’m very sweet with you.  My mom was a stray pregnant girl, but I was lucky enough to be born indoors and my foster has been taking care of me ever since.  Sometimes I get along with other kitties, so if you have one who is feline friendly, I think we could be friends after an appropriate introduction.

When I’m bored or hungry I can meow quite forcefully to let you know I need some attention,,. either playtime or food!  Sometimes I like to have my own little area to use as a “retreat” but since I’m still pretty kittenish I am quite playful.  I especially like to catch jingle balls in mid-air.  I can jump up really high into the air, so who knows, maybe I’m part kangaroo!  I think I’d be really happy in a calmer, quieter home environment with patient adopters who will let me take my time to get to know them and once I do they’re ready to pet me, play with me and watch me spring high into the air.  I’m Courage and once I become a permanent member of your family, I won’t need courage to be sweet to you.”
