Diego is a young boy who is looking for a calm home to call his own.

Diego is a young boy who is looking for a calm home to call his own. He loves peace and quiet. Diego is a bit shy but if you are patient he will allow you to pet him on his cheeks, head and back. He is not a lap cat; Diego rather observes you from a distance. He will be the happiest if you him a high place to sit up and sleep. He is really curious and likes to explore the world on his own. He is not very playful but if he gets in the mood he prefers feather toys. Don’t be discouraged if Diego runs away and hides from you when you get to know him. He warms up to people gradually and is simply looking for an owner that can give him the time and patience that he needs. In return, he will give you his love for many years to come.

I’m a #CatPal!

Cat Pals are cats who we’ve evaluated and have proven themselves to be the BEST cat friends for other cats. They like people too, they just prefer the company of other cats.

For most people looking for a companion for their cat, the first priority is to minimize the chances of inter-cat conflict. So many stressful things can happen when cats don’t get along: hiding, fighting, redirected aggression, elimination issues… why risk all of that drama? Adopt a Cat Pal. 🙂

Diego is a Secret Admirer

When it comes to relationships, I’m very level-headed. I don’t leap in paws first, if you know what I mean. But give me a little time, and then I’ll shower you with purrs, head-butts, and plenty of lap time. In the meantime, you may not see a lot of me—but I’ll be thinking a lot of you.
