Gator's ready to take a (very loving) chomp out of your heart!
“Hello future friends! Don’t let my name scare you off. I might be named “Gator”, but you have nothing to fear with me – I’m as sweet as can be and I won’t actually bite you! I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body. In fact, I’m so sweet that you might wonder how I ended up without a home. I’m not exactly sure how it happened, but I know that it wasn’t okay with me. This Gator needs people. So, I invited myself right into my foster parent’s home and got comfortable. In fact, the first time I met my foster dad, I ran right up to him like we had been best friends forever!
Now that you’ve learned a little about my past, let’s talk about my present. My foster family has two other dogs and I love them! We play tug of war and chase each other around and then collapse and nap together. It’s so much fun! I love playing in my backyard and I’m learning to walk on a leash. I’m very food motivated so teaching me new things should be pretty easy as long as I can get some treats during training! My foster parents say that my favorite things are car rides, eating, and cuddling. I also love all people. People who I already know are my favorite – I’ll snuggle right in their laps like a baby – but I even love to stop for head rubs from strangers on the street.
And finally, there’s my future. That’s where I’m hoping that you come in! I hope to spend my future with one or more people who love cuddling and the occasional car ride. I’m happy to share my time with another dog or to be your one and only pet. Whatever you prefer! I’m also hoping for lots of food and toys and treats in my future, because I am a very good dog! I can’t wait to meet my new best friend! If you think that could be you, apply to adopt me, Gator, today!”
