I survived the great freeze of 2021!

(Last Updated On: April 24, 2021)

“My rescuer knew I was a kitten without a home, but I didn’t make it easy for her to capture me.  I hid out during the great freeze and came out again during the thaw looking for food.  This time I was ready to accept help and come indoors!  My name is Gia and I’m a fantastic kitten. Sweetness, energy and cuteness just ooze out of me.  I’m quickly learning that “big” humans give out treats, chin scratches and pets so I’m stretching my limits and making them my friends.  I can be a bit shy at first, but sometimes as soon as you sit down, I’ll come up to you, purr and just maybe I’ll melt right into your lap.

I love to play morning, noon, afternoon and evening, but don’t worry, I take time off at night and let you sleep; I’ll sleep, too.  I’m a curious girl so I’ll search out some unusual places when I need a little alone time, but not to worry I won’t stay there very long.  I think I’d like a calmer home since I’m just getting used to humans and I’ll be happy to share my space with a kitten friendly feline.  If you’re looking for a sweet, energetic survivor, sign up to meet Gia so we can live happily ever after.”
