Being carried around by my humans makes my day!

(Last Updated On: January 21, 2021)

“My name is Honey and when I was rescued, I could barely see, and my mother had rejected me.  My sister Aspen and I were born under a porch and we had to be lured out with food and treats so we could be trapped and learn to live indoors.  From the very beginning I was sweet and friendly; I was named Honey because I have honey colored fur and my favorite toy is a little crocheted honeybee!   When I trust you, I’ll be your nearby companion.  I love to have your pets, sit in your lap (I’ll stay there for hours if you’ll let me) and I love interacting with other kitties!  In fact, if I get separated from my sister or from one of the resident cats, I’ll start crying….so I need to go to a home with another kitty or have my sister Aspen come with me to my new home.

I’m a bit timid with strangers, but I love my humans and don’t mind being handled one bit.  In fact, sometimes I’ll cry if you won’t carry me around when I think you should and I love being on your shoulder, just like a parrot.  Sudden movements or noises can make me dash away, but I’ll always re-appear; most often you’ll find me just a few steps away from you.   If you’re looking for a sweet, shy and loyal kitten with a precious face and who is an excellent kitty companion Honey will be a great kitten for you.  (Don’t forget about Aspen in case you want two of us. We’re a good balance for one another)”
