Hi Human, I’m Lilly, and I’m going to tell you everything you need to know about lovely white kitties like me.
First of all, do you know that solid white cats are known for having a sweeter and calmer temperament than many of our more colorful feline counterparts? I know purrsonally that I love nothing more than to lie by your side and be petted. In addition, a pure white coat is considered to be the least common of all the coat colors. I think that makes me extra special, don’t you? That may be why many of us have lived in the White House as pets to presidents over the years. We are also lucky. Ever noticed the happy white cat statue waving at you from the counter of your favorite Asian restaurant? That is the Maneki Meko, or Japanese Beckoning cat. These figurines are placed by the doors of buildings or houses to bring in good luck. Just like the statue, I will bring you good luck and a lifetime of love if you adopt me.
