About Matilda

Meet Matilda, a beautiful black-and-white kitten with a curious mind and a heart that’s waiting to blossom. Like her namesake, Matilda is clever, observant, and has a wonderful little independent streak. She’s friendly, easy to handle, and loves being part of the action, but she’s also perfectly content entertaining herself.

Matilda loves toys, playtime, and exploring her surroundings. She’ll happily accept cuddles when she’s feeling cozy, and we think her affectionate side will really shine once she has a home where she can get plenty of one-on-one attention. Right now, she’s one of six kittens, so she has to compete with Dolly, Annie, Maddie, Maple, and Molly for her share of the spotlight!

She can be a little unsure when things get loud or overwhelming, but Matilda is a great little observer. She takes her cues from the people around her, and when you’re calm and confident, she quickly learns that everything is okay. She’s still a bit overwhelmed by dogs, so she’d probably be happiest in a quieter home where she can settle in at her own pace.

All this little girl needs is her very own Miss Honey: someone patient, kind, and ready to show her how wonderful life can be. Give Matilda a little time, love, and a safe place to call home, and you just might discover a playful, affectionate companion hiding beneath that independent exterior.

And don’t worry, she has no plans to send anyone to the Chokey. She’s much too busy being adorable.
