Who says cats can't be trained? Let's prove them wrong!
Why we love Mona–and you should too!
“Hi, my name is Mona. I came to Friends for Life without a home to go too! I have had a few struggles in this short life. I think a lot of it has to do with how smart I am, I prefer my adopters to match my energy!
Like I said before, I am incredibly smart. I can be trained to do just about anything and I love it! I can handshake, high-five, jump through hula hoops, etc. I am currently in training at being more of a lap cat, can you believe that? I am getting quite good! I used to be too restless to sit on laps. But during training, I have learned how relaxing and enjoyable it actually is – I still take the treats as if I am in training, though! I live for your attention and I am proud to say that I am adaptable to new environments as long as I have a friendly face with me. I am an avid toy user and I love to play with the wand, but if your busy that’s ok, I can keep myself entertained! I haven’t really enjoyed other cats or dogs company in past so I would love to go to a family with older children and no other pets.
