I have potential….to be a lap cat!
Why we love Nina–and you should too!
“Hi my name is Nina! I was brought to Friends for Life as a terrified kitten. With some some help of some patient caregivers and other cats, I was able to come out of my shell and really show the kitten I was meant to be. Now that I have grown into a blossoming young cat, I carry that kitten energy with me!
I can still be shy in new environments and new people but once I get to you know you I am an incredibly sweet, affectionate companion. I am still young so I have some energy and love to bat around a ball or wand on occasion. I am also a very independent cat, not needy and I won’t bug you when you are busy. I can keep myself entertained for hours! When it’s time to relax on the couch, I will be the first one on your lap! I love to cuddle and be engulfed in warm blankets. Since I can be a bit shy initially, I would love an understanding family who can show me safety with patience. Since young kids can be loud and unpredictable, I’d do better with older children. I have been known to have been great with other cats and I even did well meeting a dog! I am always open to trying new things, you never know ’til you try!”
