“I my name is Opossum! I was brought to Friends for Life after being rescued from another shelter. I was originally surrendered to the shelter because I was pregnant.  I had my babies and did my motherly best in caring for them.  Now that they are taken care of, I am ready to settle down and find the family I have been dreaming about.

I am a quiet , shy girl at first but once you get to know me you will begin to see my playful and cheery personality! I am one of the most gentle cats.  You won’t catch me hissing or swatting! I love attention at any time, even if that means waking me up from a deep sleep.  I promise I will wake up purring and yawning at the same time!  I am still young so I have some kitten energy, especially when I know there is food or treats involved.  I get SO excited when I hear the clinking of bowls and that sweet sound of tin cans popping! I get along with other feline friends, but would rather cat companion as opposed to kittens.  They are too wild for me and I enjoy my beauty rest! I’d be a great addition to any home, so don’t miss out on a gentle soul like me!”
