Ozzie will wobbly walk his way into your home…& your heart.(Last Updated On: November 13, 2020)
“My name is Ozzie and I came to FFL because my mom had to move and couldn’t take me with her. I hope I get adopted soon to fill what is missing in my heart! I survived an illness that not many kittens make it through.
I have cerebellar hypoplasia and it makes me shake. I hop like a bunny instead of run and my balance isn’t that great. I’ve learned to live with these things and can easily adapt to new surroundings… as long as those surroundings involve a comfy bed and a window to look out of!
I’ve become a local mascot here at Friends for Life. I get special treatment because I still walk like a wobbly baby kitten. I am not exceptionally stable or straight but that doesn’t mean I’m not sweet! Some would say I steal extra sympathy snuggles, but hey, it works! I have made some really good buddies here, but I do better with some more than others. I like to try and mind my p’s and q’s around other cats so as long as they don’t bother me, I don’t mind sharing my (big) space with them. I really do try to get to the litter box but I admit, sometimes it is a monumental task! I can’t run anywhere super fast so sometimes I have little accidents here and there. My foster mom brags that with a big litter box and some puppy pads, I do just fine! But again, people, (and some cats) say I’m worth it – just having me around tends to bring a smile, …and usually a snuggle.
Overall, I am a happy guy and I don’t like to worry about the small things in life. I am lucky to be here, alive, today. That MUST mean black cats really do bring good luck!”
