About Phoebe
Phoebe is a bit of a mystery — and that’s part of her charm. She previously lived as the beloved companion of an elderly owner and came to us when her person needed to move into memory care. It was a big change, and she’s still figuring out how to feel safe in this new chapter.
The hardest part for Phoebe has been transitioning to a shelter environment full of other cats. We believe she would do best in a single cat household, and perhaps finding a quiet foster home would help her come out of her shell.
We’re still learning who Phoebe is, one quiet moment at a time. What we do know: she’s tidy and loves having toys and cozy hiding spots to explore. She’ll thrive with someone patient — someone willing to let her set the pace, respect her space, and listen closely to her cues as she learns to trust again.
Phoebe isn’t looking for just anyone. She’s waiting for the right person to help her write the next chapter of her story — one gentle step at a time. Could that person be you? 🐾

I've had very limited experience with dogs and, with proper introductions, may be happy living with them.

I am not a cat fan and do not want to live with them.
