Life if too short to be lonely, let me be your companion!

Why we love Professor–and you should too!

“Hi, my name is Professor.  Although you can’t tell by my sweet personality and to-die for charm; I’ve been through a real rough patch… That is 2020, I guess. I was found by my rescuers wondering through a parking lot with horrible dental disease and suffering from kidney issues.  I was in rough shape to say the least! I had a family before they found me because I was already declawed… OUCH. I never let my past affect my attitude.  It is hard to believe that with my rough past, I am still one of the most loving friend  and companion you could ask for.

I have not met someone I don’t love instantly.  I love to communicate with my eyes.  If you give me a long stare and a slow blink – I will return that slow blink and I know that’s my cue to jump up on your lap for some cuddles! One of my favorite things to do is stretch my arms up your leg so you pick me up, and hold me like a baby.  If you hold me in your arms, I love to give you hugs and nuzzle my face into your warm neck; I’ll stay still there until your arms go numb! I am the definition of a cuddle bug, curled up in your arms is one of my favorite places to be.  I know that time is short here on earth so I like to get in as many snuggles, chin scratches and quality time with you as I possibly can.  I have impeccable litter box manners.  I never have accidents and I am clean and tidy when I bury my business; you won’t find any stray litter on the floor from me!  If my perfect personality hasn’t convinced you, then you should know that I co-exist excellently with cats.  I know when to keep my distance and and I won’t bother my siblings if they need their space from me.  That doesn’t mean I won’t play – I love playing tag with my foster siblings or batting around a random hair tie.  Since I have early signs of kidney disease, I have a special diet and I get fluids every third day… BUT don’t let that scare you away.  I make it super easy for you, if you prop me up on your lap, we can pass the time by watching TV as I snuggle into your chest.
