River's ready to flow into your life!

“Hello wonderful friend! My name is River, and I am so excited to meet you! I’ve been lucky to have received a lot of love in my life and I can’t wait to share that love with a forever family. You see, my last human found himself without a home and when he realized that he couldn’t take care of me anymore, he gave me to a kind woman walking by. She took me in and while I’m very happy to be inside, now it’s time to find my forever home.

Here are some things to know about me:

First, I love food! If I can find food, I will eat it!

Second, I love attention! I love cuddling, snuggling, and all forms of attention! If you want to feed me snacks while we sit on the couch together, I’d be in doggy heaven!

Third, I get along well with other dogs. I like playing tug with other dogs and I share my toys well. I don’t have an aggressive bone in me towards other dogs or people!

Fourth, I’m pretty smart – I can climb some tall fences and I can find food anywhere! Other than my tendencies to steal some food (but who can blame me – extra snacks are the best), I have very good house manners. I’m also crate trained so all of your food can be safe if you’re not there to watch it (although personally I’d rather you just let me have it). I love going on walks and I even walk on a leash like a pro.

Fifth, I’m ready to find my person (or people!) and start on my next adventure. It’s time for me to repay all of the love that I’ve been given in my short life with some love for my new family!
