“I’m pretty lax about new situations and people but still, I sometimes like to curl up and make myself as small as possible. That protects me. But I need more than that. I need a fun human who loves me and who will laugh at me when I’m silly. I need a loving human who will pet me and cuddle with me when I feel lonely.
That’s what I need, what about you? Do you need to loosen up a little bit? How about some stress relief while smoothing down my fur? It comes down to what is good for you and for me. I’m pretty sure we’ll be wonderful together, especially if we can agree to a daily routine of a back rub (that would be my back, you rub).”
