About Rutherford
Meet Rutherford, a handsome black cat with a name fit for a duke and a coat that’s always dressed for a black-tie affair. He was found in his rescuers’ backyard with his sister and brother, and he has since upgraded to the finer things in life: pets, attention, and warm laps.
Rutherford is a friendly, cuddly purr-buddy. Start petting him and the purring begins right away. He treats it like a full-time job, and he has never missed a shift.
He also runs a one-cat fairness committee. If you’re petting another cat, Rutherford will stroll over to collect his share. Equal pets for all, but especially for Rutherford.
When he’s not on cuddle duty, he enjoys chasing balls across the room and giving his scratching post a proper workout. A gentleman needs his hobbies.
If your lap has been looking for a purr-manent resident, Rutherford is friendly, affectionate, and ready to fill the position.
