About Solar
Meet Solar, a handsome flame point boy with a heart as soft as his cream-colored fur. He’s a little shy at first and takes his time to get comfortable, but once he trusts you, he’ll show you just how deeply he loves. His favorite thing in the world? A good “bonk” — lean your head toward him and say the word, and he’ll gently tap his forehead against yours in the sweetest display of affection.
At 13 years young, Solar came to us with his brother Eclipse after their lifelong person moved into assisted living. It’s clear these two were cherished — they return that love tenfold to anyone lucky enough to meet them. They play together, groom each other, and share a quiet, lifelong bond that’s beautiful to see.
Solar is the kind of cat who rewards patience with pure devotion. Once he feels safe, he’ll seek you out for cuddles, purrs, and quiet companionship. He loves attention from his people, is wonderfully affectionate, and will happily chat to tell you what he wants (usually more pets).
