About Tommy
Tommy is a big brown tabby who is apparently under the impression that he is a dog. We have chosen not to correct him.
Tommy is incredibly friendly, affectionate, and wonderfully handsy. He loves being petted, being held, climbing into laps, and generally making sure his favorite humans are paying attention to him. He’s also energetic and playful, with a particular talent for playing fetch with pom-poms. Yes, fetch. Like a dog. He’ll chase it, bring it back, and wait for you to throw it again. At this point, we’re just letting him live his truth.
Tommy is also impressively easygoing. Nail trims? No problem. Baths? Sure! A trip to the vet? Apparently a fun outing. He’s comfortable being handled and has the sort of friendly, goofy personality that makes him an absolute joy to hang out with.
He gets along well with other cats, but his brother Saffron is especially important to him. The two were found together in the neighborhood and have a special bond, so Tommy would love nothing more than to find a home where he and Saffron can stay together.
If you’ve always wanted a dog but your lifestyle says “cat,” Tommy may have found the loophole. He’s a lap cat, a fetch enthusiast, a professional cuddler, and one of the most dog-like cats you’ll ever meet.

I've had very limited experience with dogs and, with proper introductions, may be happy living with them.

I would do great with pretty much any cat and may prefer to be around cats.
