We’ve never seen a crisis like this. Our response had to be just as unprecedented.
We responded with a 100% free vet wellness clinic. It’s Houston’s only such clinic. Ever. And still, to date.
Friends For Life Drive-Thru Clinic + Pet Food Bank
Together, we can make amazing things happen. We need more people like you. Because the way the shelter system works right now? Not good enough.
We’ve got some new ideas for a creating a better and healthier community for us all—tail or no tail. We’re talking hard truths and life-changing methods. It’s time for the UNshelter. A new kind of shelter that’s not somewhere you go.
It’s something you do.
URGENTLY SEEKING SPONSORS
To date: We gave away 8,123 doses vaccinations, heartworm & leukemia diagnostics, heartworm & flea preventatives and dewormer.
We are just scratching the surface of the need.
We are seeing families that never had to ask for assistance before. COVID has shaken our economic foundations. Struggling to pay for rent, food and utilities, many will forgo veterinary care. Or worse, they’ll need to make the heartbreaking decision to give up their animal to a shelter.
What we do in crisis defines each of us.
What the #FFLArmy is doing: keeping animals fed, healthy and in their homes. It’s time to #BeUnsheltered. A whole lot of good can happen outside shelter walls.
