Looking to add a rabbit to your family?
While our programs are primarily focused on cats and dogs, we do have a few rabbits who are looking for their forever homes.
You can learn more about them below and fill out an application to get the process started.
NEED HELP?
We are currently at capacity and cannot intake rabbits at this time. If you are looking for help finding a home for a rabbit, please reach out.
Adoption Process
Ready to find a new forever friend? Here’s how the adoption process works at Friends For Life.
Step 1:
Rabbit Care Guide
Step 2:
Application & Interview
Step 3:
Sleepover
Step 4:
Make It Official!
As a first step, please read the “Rabbit Care Guide” that our friends at Houston Rabbit Resource have put together.
This guide gives a really great overview of what having a rabbit as a part of the family involves.
Fill out this application to give us a bit of information about you and your household.
Once you complete the application, one of our trained Adoption Counselors will give you a call to chat further.
After you talk with an Adoption Counselor, our adoptions team will review all the information and get back to you on whether we’ve determined the rabbit you’re applying for will be a good fit.
If you’re approved to adopt, we’ll set up a sleepover, which is a week-long trial period to see if it all works out.
If it all works out during the sleepover, you’ll finalize all the paperwork, we give you the latest information on your new friend, and you’re all set!
Adoption Fee: $75 (single) / $125 (bonded-pair)
