We take on the tough cases.
We say yes to the ones who need emergency surgery. To the ones who need lifelong care for a chronic condition. To the ones who need a life-saving treatment for a treatable condition. And to those who need sanctuary and comfort in their last days.
We take the longshots.
To us, Every Animal Matters is not talk. It is our walk. We walk it into surgery, into hours of rehab, into all-nighters with sick puppies and tiny fading kittens. Step after—sometimes heartbreaking, labor-intensive— step.
We can only commit to doing that with your help.

HEARTWORM TREATMENT
Heartworms are fatal in dogs if left untreated. The treatment, however, is usually considered too resource-intensive for many shelters and rescue groups, leading to a death sentence.

CREAKY CRITTERS FUND
We have some very-senior senior animals in our program who struggle with osteoarthritis (OA) pain. OA is a type of arthritis that occurs when the tissue in an animal’s joints start to get worn down, causing bones to rub against one another (ouch!!). This can make things like jumping, climbing stairs, and even playing difficult.
Solensia is a new veterinary medicine that is the first and only FDA-approved treatment to control OA pain in animals. The monthly injection helps keep them pain-free and enjoy their golden years while they wait to find their forever home. It’s not cheap, at $40 an injection, but it’s worth it to see a 20-year-old cat and a 15-year-old dog playing pain-free again, and the results have been nothing short of amazing.
