A loyal, royal companion ready to share love in her forever home!
Hi! My name is Princess and although my life hasn’t always been a fairytale, I’m ready for my story to have a happy ending!
I spent a lot of time outside where people and other dogs weren’t always nice to me. After my difficult journey, I can be a little afraid of new people and new dogs, but once I sense that my safe people trust them, then I know that I can trust them too! When I get scared, I don’t show any aggression – I just back away from the situation.
There are dogs, cats, and kids in my foster home, and I love all of them! It took me a little while to not be scared of the other dogs, but now we are buddies! I even love playing with the kids in my foster home! I’m pretty submissive to other dogs – if they want something that I have, like a toy or food, then I’ll walk away and let them have it. I don’t like to cause any drama!
Once I know that I can trust people, I’m quite the snuggler! I really love my people. I’m also pretty smart and a people pleaser, so I’m quickly learning “inside dog manners” like how to walk on a leash and basic commands. I’m even house-trained! I do great when left home alone – I just sleep on my bed and don’t cause any problems. My foster mom says that I am “very calm and loving.” She says that I just need a home of my own so that I can find people to make happy! I agree – I love making people happy! Could that home be yours? Apply to adopt me, Princess today, and you could be the lucky person who gets to turn life around for this sweet Princess.
