Appa followed his fosters home one night, after having wandered around the neighborhood. He was overheated, thirsty, hungry and exhausted. His body was covered in lacerations and his feet were red and sore from the hot pavement. He slept for days before feeling energetic enough to act like a normal dog.
Here are some facts about Appa:
- He’s a very sociable dog, loves lots of pets and snuggles, but also knows how to enjoy some alone time.
- He’s a smart, smart boy and knows Sit, Touch, Look, Down and Break!
- He’s happy to lounge around the house, and typically appreciates sleeping in. Once he’s up, he can enjoy activities like jogging or hiking.
- Whether you are strolling along or jogging, Appa is okay with sticking to your pace.
- Appa is gentle about taking treats and knows how to sit before getting his meals. He is comfortable sharing his food and toys.
