About Dreamer
Meet Dreamer — A Dog With a Name Full of Hope✨
Dreamer didn’t arrive at our shelter the way most dogs do. He came with a note, a bag of food, and $60. The family who loved him dearly had no choice but to say goodbye. They were Dreamers too — not just by heart, but by name. When changing immigration policies forced them to leave the U.S., they lost everything — including the chance to keep Dreamer by their side. So they entrusted him to us. And Dreamer? He’s held onto that love.
Despite the loss, Dreamer remains a joyful, affectionate, and playful soul. He’s housetrained, gets along beautifully with other dogs, and greets every new friend — human or canine — like a long-lost companion. His spirit is bubbly, his loyalty deep, and his tail wags with the resilience of someone who’s still holding onto hope.
Our favorite thing about Dreamer? His absolute love for water. Give him a kiddie pool or a hose and he’ll splash, roll, and swim like the happiest pup in the world — because in that moment, he is.
Dreamer was loved deeply once — and he’s ready to be loved again. He’s proof that sometimes the most beautiful goodbyes are really new beginnings. If you’re the kind of person who believes that love and hope still matter — even when the world feels heavy — Dreamer’s waiting for you. Let’s help him live up to his name.
