After You Get Your Puppy

Dr. Ian Dunbar’s book helps overview all things puppy – from developmental deadlines to socialization.

7:31 pm by Friends For Life

Our Behavior team equips each new puppy parent with this book to give them a comprehensive overview of their puppy, including:

  • Development Deadlines
  • Household Etiquette 101
  • Your Puppy Being Home Alone
  • Socialization with People
  • Learning Bite Inhibition
  • Adolescent Problems

The final chapter in the book also includes an extremely helpful Homework Schedule to take a new puppy parent through Dunbar’s suggested steps to avoid behavior, training, and temperament problems while still in puppyhood.
