Enrolling an Animal into Friends For Life
At Friends For Life, we believe every animal deserves a loving and lasting home. Because our shelter is not designed for long-term housing, our adoption program is foster-based. This means that when an animal enters our program, we ask rescuers and owners to foster until adoption—which can sometimes take several months.
During that time, we work together to give each animal the best chance at finding a forever home. We share their story and photos on our website, Petfinder, and Adopt-A-Pet, and, if suitable, they may be invited to adoption events.
As a non-profit rescue supported solely by private donations and grants, we ask rescuers to partner with us in the process rather than simply passing the buck. Together, we can make a life-saving difference.
