About Tiger

Tiger is a goofy, playful, energetic and loving boy. He showed up, skinny and crying, in foster mom’s backyard and refused to leave. He immediately won her over by his friendly welcoming nature, resilience and optimism. Everything he does, – he does with 100% commitment to the process, whether it is enthusiastically eating (which quickly upgraded him to a “chonk” status), playing, watching his favorite squirrel channel on YouTube, looking at the birds out of the window, or sleeping sprawled on the bed with his belly up.

He is always fully present for everything he does. He will meet you at the door when you come home from work, excited to see you, he will cuddle with you on the couch if you invite him to and will play as much as you want. He purrs loudly when you pet him, and loves being brushed. He is also pretty independent and self-sufficient, happily entertaining himself with his toys and birds when you are at work. Even on the saddest days when you feel like your life is getting too stressful, he will make you feel loved and seen.

His confidence and optimism are contagious. He brings so much joy and love to a house. Wanting to be the whole center of attention, Tiger does not want to be in a house with other cats or dogs. He is welcoming of strangers and is very friendly with people, and would do great in both quiet houses with just one or two people, as well as busy houses with a lot going on. He will quickly become a loved member of your family, and you simply won’t be able to imagine your home without him.
