Hi friends, it’s me, Roscoe. I wanted to give you all an update on my life because wow, things have changed so much since my early days in the shelter.
Not too long ago, my world was turned upside down. My partner Jayva had just had our puppies, and instead of celebrating together, we were all taken to a city shelter and separated. I didn’t know what would happen next. I was scared, I was sick, and I didn’t even want to move. But then something amazing happened. A foster stepped in to take care of me, and slowly I started to feel safe again. I got better, I reunited with my family, and finally, my life began to turn around.
Then my forever person came along. They took the Friendr quiz and found me. From the moment we met in the shelter lobby, something clicked. It was like we had known each other forever. Everyone who saw us knew this was the start of my forever home, and it truly was.
Now my life is amazing. I go everywhere with my dad. I get the best toys, the tastiest treats, and endless belly rubs. I even have my own Instagram (@rescuedbyroscoe) where you can follow my adventures. I am also signed up to compete in this year’s Ambassadog competition at Holler Brewery. I am ready to show everyone how far a second chance can take a dog like me.
From feeling lost and unsure to living my absolute best life, I could not have done it without Friends For Life, my foster, my family, and all the love along the way.
