B-Day Matching Challenge

Starting at 10 AM, every donation is matched — up to $62,000!

Today, we’re celebrating two extraordinary birthdays: Salise Shuttlesworth, our founder & executive director, and Dr. Roberto Treviño, our medical director. To mark the occasion, the birthday duo is raising funds for shelter pets and helping Friends For Life charity runners meet their fundraising goals — every dollar raised by our runners goes directly to FFL animals.

Give $250 or more online and get a box of birthday cookies for your pup, baked fresh by Salise and Chef David Cordúa. We’ll deliver them right to your door (within 10 miles)! Cat people, we didn’t forget you—catnip edibles included (no ID required 😉).

At 1 PM, our shelter dogs step in as official taste-testers in a “Dog Treat Master Chef” showdown. Stop by the shelter between 1-4pm to pick up a bag of fresh-baked dog cookies for $20—all proceeds support our mission.
