About Sheila Dobie
Sheila is a young sweetheart with a quiet soul and a heart full of love just waiting to bloom. She was found abandoned in a busy parking lot near the airport — a loud, unfamiliar place that must have felt overwhelming and scary. Unsure of who to trust, Sheila was understandably shut down. Thankfully, a kind Samaritan stepped in and brought her to us, giving her the second chance she so deeply deserves.
After arriving at our shelter, Sheila slowly began to come out of her shell. With patience, gentle voices, and caring hands, she started to realize that not all humans let you down. Now she’s decompressing in a loving foster home, where she’s finally learning what it feels like to be safe, cozy, and cared for.
Sheila is a calm, gentle companion who thrives in peaceful environments. She does especially well with other calm, respectful dogs and would love a home that matches her soft nature. Once she gets to know you and understands that she’s safe, Sheila’s true personality shines — she’s incredibly sweet, quietly affectionate, and happiest when she’s simply by your side.
She doesn’t ask for much — just patience, kindness, and someone to love her forever. In return, Sheila will give you a loyal heart and the most tender companionship you could ask for. If you’re ready to show this brave girl what forever feels like, Sheila is ready to meet you. 🐾

I've never been around kids before, but it's a possibility!

I've had very limited experience with dogs and, with proper introductions, may be happy living with them.
