About Vega
Named after one of the brightest stars in the night sky, Vega is living up to her name — she just needs the right person to help her shine.
Rescued as a young kitten alongside her siblings, Vega has spent time in a foster home but is still a bit shy around new faces. She’s not a cat who hands out her heart right away — with Vega, affection is something you earn, one quiet moment at a time. For the right adopter, that makes it all the more rewarding when she finally decides you’re hers.
Vega has been waiting at the shelter for a while now, and in that time she’s found her best friend: a cat named Bubbles. The two are adorable together, and Vega clearly feels safest and happiest when she has a friendly feline companion by her side. She’d absolutely thrive in a home with another cat.
Once Vega feels safe and settled, her playful side comes out in full force. She’s still a kitten at heart, ready to chase, pounce, and play the moment trust is built. All Vega is looking for now is a patient, loving home to finally call her own — and ideally, a furry friend (maybe even Bubbles!) to share it with.
