About Amber Gemstone
Meet Amber, a petite sweet-natured cat who came from a hoarding situation and is still learning that the world can be safe. She can be sensitive to loud noises and sudden movements at first, so she appreciates having a small, quiet space to retreat to when she needs to decompress.
With her foster, she has slowly begun exploring her environment a little more each day. As she builds trust, she loves being scratched on her cheeks and the top of her head, and she enjoys sitting near a window to soak up the sunshine. She also likes cuddling, especially in the mornings and at nap time.
Amber is an independent player who entertains herself well and is especially fond of little toy mice and wand toys. She would do best with a patient adopter who’s willing to let her come to them, on her own schedule. Once she does, she’ll reward that patience with sweet purrs and gentle head bumps that let you know you’re her person. Could you be that person for Amber? 🐾
