About Carl
Carl showed up on his foster’s porch asking for help, and he’s been making the most of the good life ever since — air conditioning, cozy beds, plenty of toys, and no shortage of attention. He’s a big fan of stuffies and always has a favorite one close by. If there’s a belly-rub appointment available, Carl will happily pencil himself in.
He’s smart, and he means it. Carl thrives on routine and lights up when he gets the chance to learn something new or work through a food puzzle. He does great in daycare with other dogs and has been doing wonderfully with his two foster siblings.
Carl loves the couch and does best in a home with a consistent routine and clear house rules to follow. He shows affection at his own pace, and once he’s settled in with someone, he’s ready for snuggles any time.
His ideal day includes two 30-minute walks and some mental exercise, followed by plenty of couch time to balance it out. He’s just as happy exploring somewhere new as he is parked on the cushions at home.
If you’re looking for a smart, food-puzzle-loving dog who does well with other dogs and knows how to relax, Carl could be your guy.
