About Slate
Meet Slate, a handsome boy with a soft heart and a calm nature. Slate was originally at our shelter as a kitten when he was adopted alongside his best friend, Steele. After spending time in a home together, the pair have returned to us through no fault of their own and are once again looking for a place to land.
Slate is a gentle cat who may take a little time to feel fully comfortable in new surroundings. Once he settles in, his sweet personality begins to shine. He greatly enjoys the company of his people and the steady companionship of his buddy, Steele.
While Slate may be a bit bashful at first, he builds trust in a calm and steady way, rewarding patience with quiet affection and loyal companionship. Having Steele by his side helps him feel confident, and the two share a special friendship that brings out the best in both of them.
