Request for Behavior Consultation

Looking for help with your pet's challenging behavior?

Consent is important to everyone—tail or no tail.

Our behavior team uses force-free, fear-free training techniques that follow the proven “LIMA” (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) approach. These methods are not only proven to be the most humane, but they are also the most effective.

When we take an evidence-based approach to our work, we are able to track our results and to have a clear way to measure our impact. That ripples out to everything that we do.

Check out our behavior resource library.

We have a database of practical information — on everything from litterbox issues to food guarding to inappropriate elimination to crate training.

Houston area trainers we really like

You could check them out as well.

Use the below form to request a behavior consult from our team of experienced CPDT-KA trainers. We’ll check out what you’re dealing with and get back to you as soon as we can.

Please note that these services would cost around $200 with a for-profit animal trainer. We’re proud to have a team willing to dedicate their time to providing these services to the community for free. In return, we ask that only those who are willing to dedicate time and effort to the process fill out the form below.

We’ve had people no-show to consults or never response, which never feels good for our volunteers.
We know you get it. 🙂
