Pride Parade

Join Friends For Life as we march in this year’s Pride Parade and bring some serious FFL magic to one of Houston’s biggest celebrations!
The parade begins at 7:30 PM, but all walkers must be with our Mobile Adoption Vehicle by 6:00 PM. We’ll be staged in the orange section of the parade lineup near 1929 Allen Pkwy #2506, Houston, TX 77019.
If you would like to help decorate the MAV before the parade, please arrive at 5:30 PM and feel free to bring decorations. Please note that loose glitter is not allowed this year, but glitter on your face, body, clothes or accessories is welcome.
For those who would like to ride in the MAV to the parade lineup, please meet at the shelter by 3:15 PM. The MAV must be in the parade lineup by 4:00 PM.
If you plan to meet us at the parade instead, we recommend parking downtown and taking an Uber or rideshare to our lineup location. The parade ends at Milam and Pease St., and MAV riders will get back on the vehicle and leave from there. Anyone who meets us at the lineup will need to split off at the end of the route, since the MAV will be directed to keep moving through the parade exit.
It will be hot, so please dress comfortably and wear breathable clothing. We’ll have drinks, snacks, sunscreen, bug spray and plenty of ice, but you’re welcome to bring anything else that will help you stay cool, comfy or extra fabulous.
Registered walkers will receive additional details and day-of updates closer to parade day.
