Get Help

Animal shelters should be a community resource. If you have come here for help, take some time to look through this section. If you don’t see the type of help you seek, let us know. We are here to help find solutions.

If you are looking to get an animal into our program, please use our online enrollment form so that we can get all of the details we need to help.

Get Help with an Animal

As with all privately-run shelters, there is a limit to the number of animals we can enroll in our program at a time. But even if we can’t enroll the animal now, there are many types of help we can offer.

Pet Food Bank × Mini Clinic

It is not only our mission but our honor to be a part of the community. Opening Houston’s first free animal food bank at a shelter has kept thousands of animals in their homes.

Financial Assistance For Pet Owners

We view our relationship with the community as a partnership. And we are committed to spending the time, energy and resources needed to help the animals in it.

Pet Behavior Support

we use non-compulsive, choice-centered approaches to behavior modification and training. Our behavior team prioritizes keeping our eyes trained on the scientific literature and current best practices in animal welfare, so that we can always be the most humane and effective. Our goal is to enhance people’s life with animals.
